"Sweet," Terrence said with a grin. "Literally." He was reaching into his pocket to pay, but she beat him to it. Shrugging, he grinned at her. "I'll get the next round, whenever that is."
If he was a prouder or politer person, he might have minded; as it was, he really didn't care. He didn't think money was an issue for either of them, and it was a stupid thing to argue over.
Lifting his cup to his lips, he took a long drink of the hot, sweet beverage, and grinned. "Perfect. Definitely time to find a porch." He took a few steps towards the door, falling into step with her. "Any ideas about where we might find one? I suppose we could wander around here, if nothing else."
