Duke couldn't help but make one of the noises that sound like he'd just tasted something disgusting. He just couldn't imagine six years with the same person, no matter how creative he tried to keep it. Marriage wasn't a thing that worked in his eyes and that applied to long term relationships as well.
But now, Duke was also starting to feel it. It was just a slight buzz but the longer he sat, the more he'd feel and he knew drinking wasn't done with.
"Being drunk should make you not regret it," he chuckled. "I do advocate tattoos, though," he added, grinning over at Terrence as an offer. And for the hell of it, he ordered another round of shots and two glasses of whiskey. "Feel like having an adventure?" He asked, raising up the shot glass.
