Serafina smiled, and shifted to make sure that the puppy wouldn't get under their feet or annoy Daphne while she was eating. If Daphne wanted to pet him, that would be one thing, but she was well aware that it might not be particularly appealing. She'd been careful not to touch the puppy after cleaning her hands to eat, only tugged on his leash.
"He doesn't have a name yet, actually," she said with a sigh. "I haven't been able to decide. Most of the usual names I'd choose seem a bit too fancy for him - he's kind of scruffy, isn't he? It's part of his charm, of course, but that doesn't make my job any easier."
She gestured for the waiter to come and take Daphne's order, not wanting to make the girl sit on ceremony while she finished her food. "I am open to suggestions, if you have any ideas. Though I may just keep calling him 'little devil' - he seems to like it."
