Blaise didn't really mind the touch of comfort, though yes, he realized it was for her sake more than his. Clearly he was just fine but he knew his mother's streak of overreacting and he couldn't exactly blame her. For the most part, she was all he had (he was unaware of her 'relationship', but new Tia was her best friend and saw her as a family figure in some way - he was, at least, more important, and he knew that).
He kept quiet as the two talked, going over his injuries, which he could have told her himself. Blaise even resisted the urge to say something like, of course he's the healer, what else would he be? For help. Chh.
"See? Nothing to worry over," he added to his mother before he hung his legs over the side of the bed and stood up. There wasn't much room, what with three people crowding around the same area, but as he grabbed his mother's arm gently, he started to guide her from the room.
"Yes, I'll be back," Blaise said to Theodore before he disappeared from the room, leading his mother out into the living room. There were no signs of pain since he'd taken the potion and the bandages were all clean. He thought that could do most of the talking.
"You didn't have to come," he said to her when they were out of ear shot and he let go of her arm. Despite his words, he knew she'd find someway to dispel it. I had to make sure you were okay or something along those lines.
