Who: Patience and Roger What: a meeting, talking about art. When: Tuesday afternoon [backdated] Where: an art gallery where Roger's paintings are. Warnings: TBA Status: In progress
Normally, Patience was a very calm person, not easily ruffled. Certainly not someone that needed to be occupied on a regular basis, because she was more than capable of spending a quiet day on her own. Now that it was the week before the full moon, however, that seemed to have changed.
When she was alone, even working with her plants, she found herself getting moody and absorbed in her thoughts, wondering about and anticipating her transformation on the 13th with some trepidation. After spending Monday that way, she woke up Tuesday morning determined to have a busy day, to keep her spirits up.
First, she went out for breakfast and coffee rather than making it for herself, and at the cafe she struck up a conversation with the waitress about the paintings hanging on the walls. When she heard that the artist was also having an exhibit at a gallery not far away, she took it as a sign that she was meant to spend at least an hour or two admiring artwork. But she had a few things to take care of - errands to run, people to see - before she actually managed to get to the gallery.
As much as she liked art, Patience had mostly visited museums of her own accord, unless her friends had projects, like Maddy's paste collage. But this was really nice, she discovered, as she entered and started to move slowly around the room, admiring each painting in turn.
