She had spent most of the day cooking, mostly with fresh ingredients as she could. She had started traveling to Italy more often, including the farmer's market. And having known how much she wished to cook - probably more than enough to feed them for many days - the witch had bought quite a lot of vegetables, fruits, meats, and spices. No cookbooks lay around the kitchen. It was the sort of work Felixa had enjoyed in the kitchen for years. Some dishes had started to wash, rinse, and dry themselves to keep it from becoming too much of a mess, but the witch couldn't help but smile.
The table was set, and she removed the apron, which had protected her clothes. "Dinner!" Felixa announced as she placed the final dish out at the table.
