The best that Hestia could hope for was that she didn't crack some joke to make things less awkward. Clearly Thomas wasn't the kind for cracking jokes. Or maybe he was, and he just didn't get to show it that much. It took a lot to shake her up, this wasn't so bad, even if it was very formal. She was used to that with Gilbert already.
