"You're not, are you?" Tracey raised an eyebrow slightly, keeping most of the teasing out of her tone, if only because of the mood she was in. "I'll just made us some tea, and a sandwich for you, and if you don't want to eat it, you don't have to." Heading towards the kitchen, she added, "I'll be right back..."
It didn't take long to set the water boiling and the tea steeping, and she made a turkey sandwich for Zach while she waited. Just as she finished up, the tea was about ready, so she poured it into two cups and set it on a tray along with the plate that held Zach's sandwich, some sugar and milk, and a few biscuits just in case he wanted something else with the tea. "Here we go," Tracey said as she made her way back into the living room and set the tray down on the coffee table.
Taking a seat next to Zach (but not too close), Tracey began to add sugar to her tea as she murmured, "I know maybe food doesn't seem that good right now, but you should still try to eat. If you're hungry it'll only make you feel worse." From whatever was bothering him.
