Ella hadn't been making a huge habit of going outside during the day. She didn't turn to ash, thankfully, since she had not completed her transformation into a full-fledged vampire, but being in direct sunlight still was not pleasant by any means. As such, she had taken the cloudy day as an opportunity to go exploring around her and Terrence's new place and had probably covered more miles that day than was humanly possible. She highly enjoyed her new found speed and strength.
She had also found out a few things she didn't enjoy today, though. She could no longer transform into her animagus form. It seemed the serval inside of her might be gone for good. And having stumbled upon some Muggle neighbors--the term was used loosely as they weren't technically near enough in proximity to be considered neighbors, but close enough that Ella could reach them quickly if she wanted to--she'd found that her mind trick didn't work anymore, either. She hadn't tested it yet as she'd spent most of her time with Terrence and refused to use it on him, but when she'd tested it just to see that day, she'd found it gone. In its place it seemed she had a new trick, similar to her old one, but less to do with legilimancy. She had some sort of vampy persuasion going for her, but it wasn't all that fun to use, so she didn't test it further to see what exactly it was. Maybe another day. Today, she had exploring to do.
Finally heading home, Ella laughed with a silly grin on her face, at Terrence's words. She was in a very good mood, probably from the refreshing day she'd had. Entering the living room, she snorted back a laugh at the sight of the tank and walked up behind the couch, leaning over greet Terrence with an upside down kiss before she spoke, her fangs just barely protruding as she nipped his bottom lip. Still leaning over, she raised her head to eye the tank, an amused glint in her eyes. "Aw, baby, you've got crabs," she laughed, completely unable to resist the obvious joke there.
