"Did the healers say anything else was damaged besides the arm?" Terrence asked, settling down beside her. He gently tapped the side of her head a couple of times with a fingertip. "Anything in here? Your eardrum, maybe."
The only real experience he'd had with brain injuries, or whatever, was when he'd had that mental break in the middle of a battle. He remembered the way everything his senses were telling him had gotten switched up and fuzzy, and the world around him had spun and gone black. That was different, though, that had not been anything to do with where he was or what he was doing. It was emotional, psychological. Still, it was really the only frame of reference he had.
