"Yeah, well - you can handle a broom, and I can catch a snitch," Terrence said, chuckling. He imagined she'd already heard plenty of seeker jokes, so he didn't bother to explain why he thought that was funny. It was probably obvious from the context, anyway.
He had flown occasionally since he hadn't needed to be on the run, just for fun. It had come fairly easy to him from the very beginning, instinctively, understanding the way the broom moved and the way his body had to move with it to be aerodynamic. He didn't push it, but when he started to move higher, he felt her fingers on the back of his shirt. He couldn't understand her words, but he could feel from her grip and the way she swayed that something was wrong. He took hold of her arm around his waist to keep her on the broom until they landed, and turned to look at her.
