Katie took the time they were up at the house to look around with interesting, smiling at how much the house reminded her of T. Distantly, she thought that she wanted a place like this someday. Not like this exactly, but a place- a house, a home- that was really like her, or like her and (Charlie) whoever she was living with.
As they headed back outside, Katie managed to last about a second before she started laughing. "Sorry, it's just... wow, out of context, what you just said it so wrong." Glancing at his broom, she burst into giggles again and added, "You know, with me riding your broom and all?" Oh, Merlin. Finally regaining her composure, Katie replied, "Umm... probably behind you? If I'm in front, I have to hold the broom and I... can't. I tried that when I flew on my own."
