"Yeah," Terrence said, nodding. "Definitely. I wouldn't keep them in the crate long-term, I don't think they'd like it much." Since he wasn't going to eat them, that basically meant he'd acquired six new pets. "A big aquarium, and - you know what else I want? I want a mews. You know, for falconry. Race crabs and train hawks. I should just quit my job while I'm at it," he added, laughing. "And turn this whole place into a zoo. I'm sure Ella would love that."
That wasn't sarcasm, at all. He was positive that Ella would like the idea of a crab aquarium and trained birds along with the Acromantulas and dragons they'd discussed when planning their enormous ranch. Of course, their army of magical creatures had been mostly for the purposes of defending themselves against the Dark Lord at that point, but who said they couldn't do it anyway?
"No, I think that one needs a stripper name," he said, eying the pink crab, which still had not extricated itself from blue's embrace. He thought the blue one might be losing interest, though. "You know, something like - Strawberry Honeytits." He burst out laughing again. "Even funnier if it is a boy."
