It was very Ella, too. Ireland was very Ella, as well; she'd joked that she'd fit right in with the leprechauns. But Katie did have a point about the secretiveness of it, though that wasn't something Terrence himself had particularly considered. Well, not recently - when they'd first gotten the idea for a place like this, they'd been planning to rebel against the Dark Lord, which would definitely require secrecy. He was glad they'd hidden out in their tent in the Forbidden Forest instead, though - it was better placed, strategically, and it meant that no one had even tried to destroy this place.
Not that they'd find that easy to do. The other part he liked about it was how enormously defendable it was. With the rock at its back, it was difficult to approach without being seen, or without tripping over the wards and booby traps he planned to put in place. So far, though, it was only warded. He was going to work on the more fun traps next.
"Shame he can't get in on the betting with us," he said with a grin. He crouched and set down the crate, before using his wand to make a large and even circle in the ground on one of the flatter areas. Not that it really mattered, because the crabs would probably go downhill anyway, but they might aim in different directions, so he might as well give them all a fair shot. He made a second smaller circle in the middle, and warded it for a moment, so that when he put the crabs down inside it, none of them could get out. As an afterthought, he marked each of their shells with a spot of color, different colors for each crab.
Then he straightened up to admire his handiwork, and to examine the crab. "What do you think, Quaffle? Which one's gonna be the fastest?" He considered them. "I'm inclined towards Pink, but that might be just because it's pink."
