"Brilliant!" Katie grinned. "On both counts. S'mores and blanket forts, because they're awesome. And Quidditch too! You know what we should do? Throw some kind of pick-up Quidditch game, just for fun."
Nodding, Katie replied, "Yeah. Well, I used to." For a second she frowned, thinking of how it had been at her house a few years ago. Then, almost casually, she said, "My Mum isn't around now." She glanced up at him with a shrug. "The Ministry took her away a few years ago, I'm not really sure where. But if the Ministry did it, I'm sure it was for a good reason, right?" She nodded, as if that convinced her, and sadly, it did. She had always been okay with the idea of her Mum being gone, even if she shouldn't have been (but she didn't know that). With another shrug and a faint smile she said, "I'm sure she's fine, wherever she is!"
