He laughed at her with the dog, raising his eyebrows. "I dunno about sweet and innocent," he said, "But he's a bloody wizard. Wizards shouldn't have to worry about defending themselves against dogs."
Of course, if he'd needed to defend himself against a dog, he wouldn't have bothered with a wand. He'd have just transformed, which was probably something Urquhart couldn't do - so far, all the Animagi he'd heard of were all interesting people who bothered with things outside of their work. But still, in a wand vs. dog fight, the dog should lose, assuming the wizard knew basic defensive magic.
