Justin stilled as he studied the pictures. He hadn't missed the body language before, but he hadn't known how to interpret it. For him, it was hard to give those gestures significance in the photos because they were every day reality for him. He had a natural gravitational pull toward Colin and felt it whenever they were near enough for Justin to be pulled into his orbit.
Smiling affectionately at their photo selves, Justin too raised his hand to trace his finger over the photo, the tip of his finger brushing over their hands and just to the side of Colin's smiling face. "Yes, I see it," he said simply. And he did see it, more than he had before Colin had pointed it out. It was almost overwhelming in a good way to see tangible evidence of what he felt all the time.
"I feel it more than I see it, but I do see it," he continued, reiterating what he'd already said. He brushed his finger over the photo again and then looked back over to Colin. He knew what he felt and he knew what Colin felt, but he didn't know what that meant for them.
