Part of him had quietly known it would not be so easy as showing him. Still, that wasn't Justin's fault. Colin just knew how to see people. He flipped back a few pages, stopping at one picture of them standing together. His head was tilted up slightly and he was looking at Justin. "There," he said quietly. "I tried to understand myself better to know what to do, to get a better understanding of just what my feelings were. I hadn't thought about looking at my photographs before to study what I was feeling."
He chewed nervously on his lower lip. "Love, Justin. I know I shouldn't have expected you to see it. It is only faint just then. Just a little something different from before. I almost missed it myself." Colin let his fingers move over their photograph selves, laughing a little as both himself and Justin paid him little mind. "We keep looking at each other. Body language." He pointed it out to him, how their bodies seemed to turn toward each other just slightly, their hands brushing against one another's.
Then he flipped over two pages, pointing at the next picture. "You can see it even more here." He smiled, eyes closing for a moment. "There's so much joy, so..." He trailed off, eyes opening to look at the picture again. "Do you see it, Justin? It's there in you, too."
