The first place Demelza went was her room, finding her journal in an instant. The message she was writing was slow at first but as soon as she heard the floo, she hurried up and finished it, shutting the journal and tossing it to the other side of the room. Really, she figured he'd let it go. Or he'd go crazy like he actually did.
She stood just as he entered and narrowed her eyes defiantly. The deed was already done. "I'm not playing at anything," she spat, even though she really was. It was a game, and suddenly she felt bad for playing. Maybe it wasn't a game at all to him...but it wasn't like she suddenly felt like telling him all about it. "It's not your business anyway."
