Patience nodded. She could certainly see that. Most of her ideas about Crouch were second-hand, from Chas's idea of him, from what she imagined based on the facts she knew about him. She had never actually had a conversation with him, and would never have a chance to, but she would have welcomed him with open arms into their family, for the sake of Chas's happiness.
"You know better than me," she said with a small smile. "And I think - when it comes to people we've lost, we just have to trust our intuition about what they'd think of us and our lives. There's no real harm in imagining the best, if it makes you feel better."
