The damage dealt to Marek really wasn't the sort to make him seem less attractive to her. And honestly, until recently, that hadn't been a concern on her mind. It didn't matter if the injuries had left horrifying scars all across his face or something else most people considered hideous. His looks had quite helped lead into the happenings of that first date, but that wasn't why she was with him.
Now that scarring was taking the place of conversations about whether Marek lived or died, Felixa had thought about them a bit. He had already seen her scars, though they were much smaller. Her father hadn't wanted to...raise alarm if anyone saw her change, such as happened at Hogwarts. And that summer, well, she'd needed to be able to go in public at times. "I agree," Felixa replied, "You've managed to find a way to be even more uniquely attractive than you already were." They weren't talking terribly seriously, but Felixa meant what she was saying and hoped that, depending on how large the scarring was and if it caused any insecurities, her comments helped show him she was still attracted to him, still wanted to be with him. And she wasn't going to shy away from them, once he was well enough for such things.
