Justin didn't think he would be a very good teacher in general, but he knew how Colin's mind worked, for the most part, so he would do what he could to tailor his knowledge to be presented in ways that Colin would grasp. Justin wasn't exceptionally a hands-on learner himself, but he like the challenge of being able to to explain things to someone who learned differently than he did. "I applied for a job at the Ministry," Justin said. He'd only done so because there was a new Minister. Minister Crouch would not have been a good person for him to work for since he'd given the orders for Muggleborns to be imprisoned and all. "And I am going to use all of my paychecks for us." He meant the four of them. He couldn't think of a better way to use money than to provide a home and things for the people he loved.
He laughed, though the laughter was muffled in Colin's hair. "I always have good reason to worry about you, because I think it would be the worst thing if anything happened to you." And then Colin spoke again and Justin's heart swelled to gigantic proportions. Pulling back to look at the blonde, Justin's hands moved to frame Colin's face. "I know now," he said, smiling affectionately. And before he could rationalize with himself not to do it, as though he'd understood Colin's thoughts without a word needing to be spoken, he bent down and pressed his lips firmly to Colin's, eyes closing instinctively. Oh, Helga, he'd severely missed how amazing this felt.
