"I will do the research and then explain it in ways that you don't have to sit and listen for a long time!" Justin assured Colin, knowing that he really did not like to sit still for long periods of time. "And maybe I can just explain as we go along, so that you can learn while we're gardening!" He really like the idea of being able to teach Colin things because Colin had taught him a lot already. Maybe not about things like facts and research, but important things like fun and love and family.
Justin thought for a moment. "Hm, anything but plum, okay? I don't very much like that color. But other purple is good! I really like light purple. Maybe lilac. And blue! And yellow, orange, green and red...how about all of the colors? We can have lots of colors all over the walls. That way this house is always happy, no matter what." He grinned when Colin called him silly. He'd never been called silly before but he found he really didn't mind it. He felt less serious than he usually did.
And, oh, it was such a good feeling to be hugging, without letting the weight of everything else make it feel awkward. This was perfect, being here at home, hugging Colin. His neck bent as his head moved to brush his lips over Colin's temple, his exhale blowing a few strands of the beautiful blonde hair atop Colin's head. Closing his eyes, Justin smiled contentedly and rest his cheek to Colin's head. "I'm so glad we're all alive, too. I missed you more than I can even tell you. I worried about you every day, and Dennis and Rose. I didn't want anything to happen to you and Dennis and I hated that Rose was in Azkaban, too. I love you. I'm so glad we're all back together again and we're all safe." He hoped he wasn't saying too much, but, Merlin, he meant it.
