The amount of excitement he was feeling right now, he couldn't explain. It was like a sugar rush and too much caffeine and Christmas and his birthday all wrapped into one really, really exciting moment. Colin could barely contain his laughter, most of the time he couldn't. "That would be amazing! This is the best idea ever! And then we would get jobs and things." It was still so exciting. Having plans. He could live and not hide. He could be happy. "Then we could save up for things we like to have around the house and it would be really cool!"
He let out a small gasp at the idea of vegetables in their garden. "I like vegetables! I am glad you like to look up things, because I think I would not do it very well. I get very confused by things sometimes. Especially if it's not explained in a way I understand. But now you know what to do, and that's the most amazing thing ever!" Justin was so smart. He didn't know how he got so smart, but he was.
"That sounds like a good idea! This weekend we should paint. So what colours do we want? That's the part we should figure out. We should ask Dennis and Rose. I like green and blue and every colour. OH! And that's a really good idea! Mum LOVES gardens!" And Justin was going to help him with his application and that felt amazing! "You are the silliest boy I know," he said, giggling a little. The feeling of Justin's hands moving up his arms made him shiver, and he wrapped them around Justin's waist, smiling widely. "Yes, we will. I missed you so much, Justin. I'm glad I can have a home with you and Rose and Dennis. I'm glad we're all alive."
