Justin's eyes lit up as Colin continued excitedly talking. "Oh! Maybe we could use white sheets and then after they have paint all over them from the walls we can use them as bedsheets! Then all of our bedrooms will be colorful, too!" He wondered if maybe they would have to use fabric paint or something. He would do some research to see if wall paint would just make the sheets clumpy or not. That was, if everyone want to do something like that. "And, yes, House neutral. Because we can have everyone come over and they might not be Gryffindor or Hufflepuff, so they shouldn't feel left out when they come here, right?" He was loving the idea of having a home where everyone could come more and more as they talked. He wanted it to feel like a home to their friends, too. And he really wanted his parents to be able to visit and see the life he had built with his new family.
"Oh, yes, a garden! And I can look up all the different types of flowers and their seasons and how to grow them and we can have a really colorful garden! And vegetables, too! Hey, maybe we can grow all of our own vegetables and it would be fun to do and would also save us money on groceries!" And it would give them something to eat besides chocolate pudding, but that was irrelevant.
There were so many ideas that Justin's head was spinning and he didn't even know where to start to make them all happen, but he wanted to figure it out. "How about we paint this weekend and then have our mums and dads over this coming week and they can help us with the garden so that it's completely a family garden and we'll have potluck and everything. And then your party on Friday! Everyone can see our home then!" He grinned and stepped toward the bouncing Colin in his excitement--Justin was feeling very enthusiastic, too. "And I will help you with the garden! I think I would like that! And I will definitely help you with your application. I love filling out forms!" It was amazing what contented Justin.
He had the overwhelming urge to kiss Colin like he used to, but he knew he probably was not allowed to right now, so he slipped his hands up Colin's arms, instead, until he could wrap his arms around the blonde's shoulders and hug him tight. "We are going to have the most brilliant home ever; you, me, Rose and Dennis."
