Justin's fingers entwining with his made him smile even more. He liked this. He liked happiness and not all the unhappiness and painting was far more important than being sad. There was a soft giggle at Justin's words about not being precise. He almost said he'd just kiss him until he didn't care, but he decided against it at the last moment.
"I bet we could! We are really good at convincing. We've got to have something that we could turn into a painting blanket or something...and then we could choose colours. I don't know what colours, though. I think it should be House neutral. It would be a little funny to have lots of red and yellow...but it might be too loud. I don't know. I like all sorts of colours, though."
The idea of their family coming to visit them had never even crossed his mind and he found himself bouncing even more. "I never thought of that! They could come visit and they could tell us how nice our house looked and then we could show them all the fun stuff we had. They might not think pudding fights are as fun, but we don't really have to tell them about that, I guess. Oh! Oh! And we could have a garden! A really pretty one with flowers!" There were so many things to think about and do and it would be so much fun! "And I like working in the garden. We could have family gardening. Or just me. I don't mind."
Colin's eyes widened a little and he almost wanted to spin around in a circle while jumping. "We could have like...a family dinner party! With all our families. It could be fun! I'm not allowed to cook, though. I forget about the stove. We could just have like...a potluck dinner party. I don't know. They could make food, and bring it...and we could have the drinks and the plates and things. It could be fun! There is so much to do!" Another laugh came out as he stopped bouncing around. "Will you help me with my application for the Prophet? I don't think it will be difficult, but I think I might get distracted."
