Colin listened quietly as she spoke, nodding a little. "I know. Dean was with us. We were there when he couldn't...well, when they'd decided about things. He was sad." He decided not to mention that he thought that was what made him reckless in the end. He didn't want anyone to be upset. That wouldn't be very good at all. "He said babies were more important, though. That's what he said." Which was true. Babies were always more important when they were involved.
"It's okay," he assured her quietly. "To get sidetracked, I mean. I do a lot." He frowned a little. "I think it's going to be difficult. I love them both a lot." It was a difficult decision. It was. His mind was confused and his heart was even more confused. He'd agreed to share a bed with Justin tonight, which might confuse things more, but he wanted to. He wanted to remember what it was like to just fall asleep in Justin's arms again.
He nodded dumbly. "It's really confusing when it physically hurts to be apart from both of them. I had nightmares the entire time about Justin and Rose getting taken. Z-" He let out a sigh. "Do you promise not to tell if I tell who it is? Well, he made the nightmares go away. And it was nice, only then I forgot before everything happened to make sure what Justin wanted, so I made sure to do so now."
