It was just...strange. This talk had been supposed to be about talking and figuring stuff out. And as much as Zach had been frightened of it, frightened of what Colin would say, he had thought that it would be decided one way or the other. The waiting and not knowing and dreading what answer Colin might give, that it might all just...end, and that was it and no more Colin and and and-
His brain didn't go past there. It just...stopped. What was he supposed to do then? So he just hugged Colin some more and hoped it wouldn't come to that, hoped that...nothing he had said or done would make Colin not want to be with him. Then Colin spoke, some more. And it was about leaving, and a huge fear spiked up that if Colin left Zach wouldn't get to see him again. It made him want to hold on close to Colin. But instead Zach just nodded dumbly.
He had been honest, and he had never ever tried to force Colin to do anything. Well, besides when he tried to get Colin to leave that time. And Zach didn't want Colin to leave him now.
