"Good." Colin wouldn't have taken anyone hurting Zach. The only reason he was staying quiet about his father now was because Zach had asked. He didn't believe parents should ever hurt their children. His parents, to the best of his knowledge, had never hit either him or Dennis once. Though, he supposed they hadn't done much that deserved hitting. There was also the fact that there were more painful things that could be done with magic. He didn't want that to happen to Zach.
Turning his attention to Zach again, he nodded. "I'll let you know." That last part hurt. No matter what he decided he would always want Zach. He didn't move away. Truth of it all was that Colin didn't want to move away and right now, even the smallest of touches was a good thing. It just...was. Though, now came the tough part. The part where he had to think about things and decide something. The decision could mean a lot of bad things. It could mean a loss of star-shaped sandwiches and watching documentaries and Zach...and everything.
"Just...promise you won't hate me...no matter what happens. I don't think I could deal with that. Not ever."
