The sound of Zach's voice made him smile a little. He sounded excited, sounded like Zach. Colin was glad someone sounded like themselves. He moved further inside, trying to push forward a better smile so Zach wouldn't worry. Then he remembered that was like lying, and his smile faltered. He shouldn't lie about how he was feeling.
"Hi," he said quietly. There was no asking before he hugged Zach, hands holding onto his shirt tightly. Though, admittedly the grip on his left hand was still a little weak and it still hurt a little, but he didn't care. He just needed to know he was there. "Are you very upset with me? Did I...Was I wrong? I'm sorry. I didn't-" He buried his face in Zach's shoulder.
He smelled like Zach and talked like Zach and felt like Zach and Colin was just glad something hadn't changed. "Do you still love me?"
