It was alright, really. In emotional discussions, other things of emotional importance tended to come up. And Theodore understood that his mother had been an important person to Zach, too; she'd been that kind of person, that made you feel important and special regardless of what was going on in your life. At least, Theodore thought she had been; of course, he'd been her son, so of course he'd felt that way. But Zach was the son of Adele's brother, and Theodore knew she'd loved her brother, taken Zach under her wing just as much.
"She might have," he said. He had no way of knowing. "Shame we can't ask her, isn't it?"
