Zach chewed on his lip a little, still keeping the cigarette in his mouth, as he actually remembered to take the journal. It was still closed because he wasn't sure how he felt about...about writing actually right then. And Theo had said what he wanted was probably hard. And there weren't the examples he wanted, even in a non-gay sense, that he really knew of that well, at least close to him.
"I miss Aunt Adele," Zach sighed, "She was amazing. And Father was always happy when she was around." His father seemed lighthearted and happy most of the time generally, but Zach knew it was different. There were times he had learned not to interrupt his father, and he had traveled a lot after. And it just...perhaps it was him being a kid at the time, but it had looked different. "I want different sort of relationships than either of our parents had, have..." Zach trailed off. He didn't mean it as an insult to anyone involved.
