Theodore listened, his expression sober and thoughtful, taking it in. He knew Zach's situation very well, and he also knew Zach, but there were some matters in which he just wouldn't be able to help. Hopefully this wasn't one of them.
He took the journal, reading quickly but thoroughly, and looked back up. "Do you want the same thing he wants?" he asked, after a moment. He needed to know how Zach was feeling about all this, but chose specific questions. Anyway, asking what Zach wanted was different from asking what he was going to do about it. To Theodore, it seemed the more important question.
