"Yes," Theodore said, unfazed by the sight of her mark, though his eyes did rest on it for a moment before rising up to meet her face. "My personal political opinions would not affect my standard of care, and they are relatively neutral opinions anyway. I am devoted to offering medical care to anyone who needs it, regardless of their pasts or futures." He wanted to tell her that she would likely find the same beliefs no matter where she went for care, but he could not be certain that was the case. There was a great deal of political unrest, and a lot of people were upset. It was her decision whether or not to risk it.
