But the moment her sister's hand touched her arm, the moment she spoke in that calm, firm voice, Chas felt her control break. "He can't do this to me," Chas said hoarsely, her voice breaking and her eyes locking on her twin's. "He can't, Patience. He left me, and wasn't that bad enough? He left me here without any warning, without saying goodbye, he just went and died on me and he left me and that, that was the worst thing ever and now this..." She groaned, pressing her eyes shut and swaying slightly in place because she suddenly felt overwhelmed, and a bit dizzy. "You fucking bastard, Barty. You bastard, you can't- Please...."
