She had gone along so much, saying so much, right away that Kingsley had chosen to generally keep his mouth quiet. His support was there, as asked for, and he was trying to do it in the right way by her. His emotions during it were secondary. Kingsley felt them, quite fully, but they didn't...control him. There was a difference there. They didn't control his life or paralyze him or anything. But they were a central part of it.
"I can understand how Jack felt, if he were trying to avenge you," Kingsley replied then, "I probably would have done the same. Smart move or not, love does that." There were good things and bad things about love. The good far outweighed the bad in Kingsley's opinion.
"Did you get angry? Sad? Hurt?" Kingsley asked, about the news. After all, it was still mostly focused on her and her emotions. There weren't wrong emotions for this, after all.
