Kingsley nodded as Emmeline spoke. It was about her, this process. It was her heart and her emotions and...all that. Not his. Kingsley was there for moral support and anything else she needed. And he wasn't going to push or demand any role outside of the ones she was comfortable with.
"Alright," Kingsley gave her a smile, covering her hand with his own softly. His other hand poured himself a small glass of wine. He still wanted his head in all of this, even as a listener. "When did you start shutting out your emotions?" Kingsley asked. The beginning was probably as good a starting point as any. That was when she had stopped processing her emotions, and they were still probably in there, deep somewhere.
