Theodore was glad, at least, that he'd managed to get the situation to go towards the real reason why he'd come here. He had been on his way to bed when he'd written in his journal, and was looking forward to doing exactly that as soon as he was done. But he managed a pleasant smile for Duke, his patient, even if it was an unconventional setting to be doing this.
"No," he said, amusement even in the slightly clipped response. "Your life is not in danger. But you would probably be in a lot of pain right now if you were sober - or when you sobered up, rather."
He had to crouch, since the bed was lower than the examination tables he normally worked with, but it was alright. It was incredibly tempting to do this without using any anesthetic, but Theodore numbed the area a bit and spelled it to stop the bleeding before removing the stitches and going to work on redoing them.
