He turned his head enough to be able to press his lips against her hand, kissing it gently, before he shut his eyes and nuzzled up against her touch. It was comforting and he savored the moment of comfort after all they had been through in the past few hours. After all they had seen. Comfort was excatly what he needed. Her and safety and comfort.
He gave the smallest of laughs before forcing out the words, "Some of it." He knew he needed a healer. He knew this. He was able to walk, but that didn't mean that he was liking walking. He was fairly certain he had hurt his leg, among other things, but that was what he noticed when he stop for long enough to notice his own pain. As if being reminded of it, he turned, his hand reaching out to grab the chair's arm, yanking it closer to Hannah's bed and promptly sitting down. Better.
"Herb will enjoy the hours," he agreed and in that moment did not allow himself to think the normal thoughts that would go along with such a statement. About how they couldn't afford to give Herb the hours or the time. That didn't even matter or occur to him in that moment. The Leaky was the last thing on his mind presently.
"He?" He found himself saying, focusing on that word, that very simple word that meant owe so much. He gave her hand a squeeze, his eyes searching hers for a moment. He was fine.
