"It's not just all the spells and potions I've crammed into my head over the years, but I've had long shifts in the emergency ward - I've had plenty of practice with ignoring everything else in order to race against time and keep people alive." He kissed her temple and closed his eyes, absently stroking her hair. "You jumped headfirst into all of that, and you did it. You should take credit for it."
