When he agreed with her, Emmeline pointed her wand at the snake, setting it ablaze. She was not at all sorry to see it go, and let it burn hot until the thing was ashes, using her willpower to heat that single area, just that one body, hotter than a crematorium. Then the fire was gone, a pile of ash where the snake had once been. She almost smiled, and then levitated Voldemort's body.
She had no wish to touch it, to carry it the way Kingsley was holding the boy. She would still be ready at a moment's notice to drop it and defend herself; she could even use Voldemort's wand if necessary, held in her other hand. The thought of putting her magic into something that had been wielded by someone so vile disgusted her, but she would do what was necessary to save herself and Kingsley, if it came to that.
"There," she said, pointing. There was a little group of people hovering about something on the ground, two of whom wore green robes signifying their healer status. Even as she spoke, one broke away from the group and came towards them.
