Tiberius had been clueless to what was going on at Hogsmeade. He had been at home and had actually been catching up on some work for the Ministry, falling asleep in the living room with a mountain of papers. He had been having trouble focusing on the work, knowing that somethings were seriously wrong this past week, especially when he heard Fletcher talking about Pansy. The man had been irate and it had been hard to understand much of what he had said, but he got the general jest that Pansy had been hurt. The Parkinson's had gotten too close to the fire and been burned. He had been worried, very worried, but he didn't sit around wallowing with the emotion.
But when he awoke, he saw the journals. Messages everywhere, people frantic. In the midst of it all was Fletcher. Fletcher was at the hospital. Pansy was at the hospital. Fletcher wasn't letting them heal him. Nothing else seemed to compute as Tiberius tossed on any bits of clothing, clueless as to whether they were dirty or clean and not giving much of a damn, before rushing out the door. He only stopped briefly to see Cerise, bringing her what he could to help her cope with her pain. Poor girl.
Room 330. 330. He kept reminding himself of this. The hospital was full of people, the waiting rooms filled to the brim, people in utter despair. It seemed like organized (and that was a loose term as far as Tiberius was concerned) chaos.
He pushed past healers, hearing shouts about family only. He blew them off, forcing his way into the room, his heart racing. Fletcher insisted he was fine. Fletcher was prone to lying when he didn't want Tiberius to know things. Thus, he wasn't too reassured. When he finally broke into the room, his eyes landed on his lover and in an instant he was in front of Fletcher, hand's place on both cheeks, leaning in to press a desperate, shaky kiss to his lips.
