Having been forward about his feelings and respectful of hers, Kingsley took care not to take advantage of a woman. If he had any doubts - or if he were in a state he doubted his ability to have doubts - Kingsley wasn't willing to do anything with a woman. And he had, in the past, pried women off of him and refused. And true, he wanted Emmeline more than he wanted them, as he liked her as well, he loved her. And that...hadn't happened often.
Still, her words were clear, with good enunciation, and beautiful lips. Well, yes, but her dexterity was just fine, and she needed no help on his part to get around. They hadn't drunk very much, and Kingsley had seen her drink far more and be okay. Yes, he was certain that she was making the decision she wanted. As it happened, Kingsley quite liked it, but that just happened to be the case. Perhaps not just happened, no not that phrase-
It was not the time for this. Emmeline wanted him. He wanted her. Their time out had helped her, as desired, and they had talked...well, unexpectedly, but it was pleasant. And she was certainly going for what she wanted. Kingsley had no doubts about her desires, which was how he liked it. Kingsley stood, leaving his glass behind. "I quite agree with that sentiment," Kingsley smiled, as they left. He still couldn't apparate them directly into his bedroom - the wards prevented him from even doing so himself.
But they apparated to the entryway, and Kingsley smiled, "Welcome home, pet."
