"I expected a stranger as well," Duke chuckled. "I don't mind just getting to know someone more, though" he shrugged as he handed over the drink - maybe it was too soon, but hey, that's what they'd agreed upon. Fletcher was still going to be new since Duke didn't know him and he was pleased that it was him rather than someone terribly boring. He already knew that wasn't true.
After a pause, Duke let out a "Hm," and tilted his head to the side. "I wouldn't have taken you as the type." It was a light assessment and pretty honest. Fletcher had always looked uptight and constricted. Who knew.
