Harry was used to the feeling of Apparating now, but he still didn't particularly enjoy it. He let out a breath when the sensation was gone, and looked around, still holding on to his wand and his belongings. It certainly wasn't the nicest place in the world, but after all this time, he'd seen worse.
The plants were definitely the strangest thing about the room. Harry had seen a lot of strange plants since his introduction to the wizarding world, but these didn't seem to be magical. They were the most well-cared for part of the flat, though, which meant there had to be something special about them.
And there was a vaguely familiar smell to the place, a little bit smoky and strange. He couldn't quite place it.
Not the most important thing at the moment, though. He took a very quick tour of the flat itself, poking his head into every room to make sure no one was there, and there were no particularly unpleasant surprises. Then he rejoined Hermione and Ron in the living room.
"What are those, anyway?" he asked, gesturing at the plants. Maybe this was something important he should have known from Herbology. A lot of things from class slipped out of his mind once exams were over, anyway. But he didn't think he'd seen plants like that before.
