Melinda didn't even bother looking in the cart before she gave him a Look. She spared a glance and saw that as suspected, he'd come back with pretty much all the junk food he could find, and three oranges. She palmfaced herself.
"You are like a toddler," she informed him, picking things out of the cart and shoving them back into his arms. "I told you to eat before we left! Put all this rubbish back," she ordered, looking down at her list again and crossing a couple of things off. A few of his items stayed in the cart, but mostly there was nothing. "I feel like I need to carry juiceboxes for you, like Mum." Melinda was not fully convinced that their mother didn't still carry a juicebox at all times for the purpose of quieting a whiny twin.
