Duke listened intently as he watched his fingers. He wasn't that interested in what had happened, especially since it involved attacks and maybe even deaths, both of which he didn't like in general. It almost made him glad that he was gone for it and he started chewing on his lower lip in dissatisfaction. Duke was aware that people had switched sides in the time he was out of the country and that was already too much he didn't want to deal with. Looks like I really did miss a lot he thought.
He let out a sigh for the whole situation and was about to start talking about it, or making them both forget, when his last words caught his attention. Well, Marek already had Duke's attention, it was just that that sentence caught him off guard. "A what?" He couldn't stop a tiny laugh from escaping his lips. The way he'd put it just sounded funny, but that was typical for Marek, and Duke didn't get what he was implying. "I hope you're just exaggerating for the sake of exaggerating," he grinned with a tease, giving Marek's tie a light tug.
