Demelza was all but ready to go off and shower and then he had to go and ask what was wrong. Sure, part of her appreciated that, but she didn't know if she was ready to just talk. Devlin worked with the minister, right under him, so would he know about the potion? Did he know and simply decide to keep it from her? She wouldn't like that, but there was a chance that he didn't know, too. And she didn't want to compromise his job or question things too far where he was concerned. If she got caught or in trouble for digging into things for the answer, that was one thing.
"It's - do you -" she sighed and shook her head, putting on a little smile. "It's nothing. We can...talk after." Maybe, she didn't add out loud as she turned and hurried off to the bathroom before he could ask any more questions. She took her time in the shower but didn't take too long. When she was clean and feeling a little better, she toweled off and realized any clothes she brought were in her bag but that didn't consist of much.
A few minutes of rummaging put her in a pair of his boxers and a plain, loose t-shirt that fell off the shoulder a bit. Her hair was still wet and messy when she came back, but she gave a small, almost shy, smile. "I didn't have anything to wear," she explained, though she wouldn't have cared if she stayed in a towel the whole time. "Do you want some tea? Or something to eat?"
