Pressing her lips together, Katie let Charlie pulled her into the hug. She shifted her legs underneath herself, leaning into him and pressing her face briefly against his shoulder as his arms wrapped around her. God, that felt good. And it was exactly what she didn't want to lose, the feeling of having someone there for her. With a shuddering sigh, Katie pulled back just enough to meet Charlie's eyes. Except then once she was staring into his eyes, she managed to completely forget whatever she'd wanted to say. Something about not wanting to be alone...
Right. She'd been so happy to find out she could talk to him, and Gods she really, really didn't want him to go. There were so many emotions boiling inside of her and she was just sitting there looking at him and thinking that she really wanted to... Well. This. Her Gryffindor instincts took over, and Katie leaned in to press her lips to Charlie's. She lingered for a moment, her lips soft against his, and then pulled back, cheeks flaming red. "I'm sorry- I don't know- I should have-" Fuck.
