Colin shrugged as Zach told him he didn't need to apologize. "I still want to even if I don't need to." He grabbed for Zach's hands after a moment, making sure his arms were wrapped around him, eyes closing as he got comfortable. Even if it was just a silly feeling, Colin couldn't help but feel safer this way.
His eyes opened after a moment and he looked up at Zach quietly. "In people?" He lightly ran his fingers over Zach's arm in what was supposed to be a comforting gesture. "I don't know that you can stop it from happening with other people," he said, a hint of amusement to his voice. "If you mean in you, however..." He tilted his head up slightly so he could kiss Zach's jaw. "I am not disappointed in you, and there is probably enough of something you can do to try to keep it that way if you really want."
He toed his shoes off, sort of belatedly realizing he still had his jacket on. Squirming around a little, he pulled the jacket off and set it down on the side. "Much better. I forgot to do that...first."
